๐๐ก๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฌ? ๐๐ก๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐๐ฑ๐ข๐๐จ?
Iโve been asked that many times since I moved here from South Dakota. There are many logical reasons, but in reality, I was drawn to this location.
After the divorce I was looking for a place to move that would be more open to energy healing work. I did a lot of research about the area and living somewhere that had four seasons but didnโt have snow was really appealing to me.
Granted we had two snowstorms this year, but I actually appreciated them and was greatly amused at the snow on the cacti! ๐ต
But what it really boiled down to, is when I flew out here and experienced Las Cruces for the first time, it felt right.
All of the logical reasons would have gone out the window if it would have felt โoffโ when I got here. The town itself looks much different than I had anticipated. The southwestern architecture is absolutely amazing. The Organ Mountains are gorgeous as well.
There are cons anywhere you liveโฆknowing that, I still wasnโt expecting a few of them.
I wasnโt fond of putting my shoe on and having a lizard wiggle itโs body against my foot trying to escape. I still shudder thinking about that.
I am not fond of the cockroaches that show up randomly โ thank goodness for diatomaceous earth.
The people I have met are really welcoming and encouraging.

โจ Some people call it the land of enchantment. I have to say I agree with them. The sunrises and sunsets are absolutely stunning and Iโm grateful that I get to experience them. Iโm looking forward to helping Las Cruces become a healthier community.
