𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐌 𝐀𝐏𝐏 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒𝐍’𝐓 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐗𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐘
I hear this often, people who are doing all the “right” things to try and relax to lessen their anxiety. But what they try creates an adverse reaction.
I’ve been there and it’s so disheartening because “it” seems to work for “everyone else” so you think there is something wrong with you.
There is nothing wrong with you, just your approach.
Sometimes what we need to do is to allow emotions like anger or grief to be expressed (safely…not onto another person.) When emotions need to flow, our body doesn’t need to calm down!
It will calm down, or rather return to its natural state of being, when the emotions are allowed to flow within the body.
Sometimes there is something going on spiritually…perhaps the Divine is whispering to you that you are heading in the wrong direction, or you are trusting the wrong person.
𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐊𝐀 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧.
Sometimes we need do some healing work to address the deeper issues.
Changing your focus from trying to “get rid of anxiety” to asking yourself questions like: “hey body…what emotion needs to flow” or “hey Divine…what wisdom are you trying to share that am I ignoring?” or “hey Self, what healing do I need?”
If your mind is spinning completely out of control and has been for over six months there is some healing that needs to happen!
